What is noise pollution?
- Noise pollution (Environmental noise) is loud noises that disturb Humans or animals.
What is causing the problem?
- Noise pollution is being caused by:
o Traffic
o Airports
o Trains (Train station)
o Kids
o Phones
o Televisions
o Ships
Where is it mainly causing a problem?
- Noise pollution is mainly causing a problem everywhere because of coal mines,
airports, ECT.
How can we try to prevent noise pollution?
1. To restrict vehicular horns upto a certain frequency, no high frequency horns must be
sold in the markets.
2. Have large size banners or boards with no horn or limited horn symbols
3. Educate students, employees, drivers of all vehicles about the noise pollution in
masses.
4. Start off huge rallies against noise pollution
5. Have sound detectors near offices, hospitals, educational institutions and residential
areas.
6. Punish those who violate this rule by imposing fine.
7. Keep factories far from cities areas.
8. Proper city management of cities and towns should be done.
What are the dangers of noise pollution?
- Noise pollution can cause humans and animals to not hear properly.
- Can cause a number of disturbances.
