The Goal
When you start a game, you will be at a random point in a
randomly generated dungeon. The goal is to get out via
the entrance to the dungeon. You may spawn a few rooms
over from the entrance or you may be many floors below
it.Combat
When you start combat, your party will be on the left
while the enemy will be on the right. The turn order
is based off of a counter system. For every turn you
take the enemies’ counter will tick down, until it hits
zero and they take an action. Careful, some enemies’
Attacks come with nasty status effects.
Your Actions
Every turn, you can choose to either Attack, play a
Card, or Flee. Doing any of these costs a turn, but
there are some cards that allow you to take multiple
actions per turn, if played properly. When you
choose to Attack, you may choose who the currently
active character Attacks (the same goes for when
you decide to play a Card). If the Attack succeeds,
you will deal the amount of damage depicted in the
bottom left of the character Card.
Fleeing costs the entire turn, however, even if you
have played a card that gives you bonus actions.
The Chance to Flee is based off of the Lck (Luck -
found on the right side of the character Card) stat on
each character’s card. If successful, that character
Flees the battle. Be aware that you must get all
characters to successfully Flee in order to leave the
battle. Exploration Combat Cards

Exploration
Now, when you start, you will be in the Exploration stage.
This is how you can explore the dungeon and pick fights
with some of the locals. You actually enter combat when
you are spotted by entering the enemies Line Of Sight
(LOS). You can also get ambushed by enemies when you
have had a fight in a while, and it could happen at any
point. You can also use certain types of cards that are
marked as Exploration to get around enemies and quickly
progress through the dungeon.
