MANAGERIAL FUNCTIONS 1. Planning- Planning means deciding in advance what, when ,where, why, how and how it is to be done. 2. Organizing- Org. is a tool for achieving the objectives in a planned manner. It creates a framework of authority and responsibility. To achieve a common purpose org. calls for- 1 . Preparation of a task force, 2 . allocation of work to individuals, 3 . integration of efforts ,4 . coordination of work of an individual with that of the dept. 3. Direction- It means limitation of organized action and stimulating the people to work. 4 . Controlling- It means regulating the activities of the personnel with the personnel plans.
