Reminders for LEARNERS -1ST CLASSROOM VIRTUAL MEETING -02

-04 -1ST CLASSROOM VIRTUAL MEETING May we all be reminded that learning in this extra-challenging time is our shared experience. As such, when you feel struggling, know that your teachers too are struggling. But we can get through this successfully and meaningfully if we work together.

Again, the actual message. Avoid flooding the GCs with unnecessary messages/posts.

— 14 -1ST CLASSROOM VIRTUAL MEETING Take note of the schedule of the distribution of modules and retrieval of outputs. This school year, the distribution of all modules and submission of all outputs will all be held at Oton National High School. A schedule will be given to avoid over-crowding. On your end, kindly inform your parents to follow the given schedule. Note: CLAIMING OF MODULES Parents/Students will be the one to provide their own plastic / brown envelops in claiming their modules.

Submission of ANSWER SHEETS Submit quality and original outputs. — 15 -1ST CLASSROOM VIRTUAL MEETING We are already in the second year of implementation of the distance learning modality. With this, we believe that you were already able to adjust to the new mode of learning. For this year, we already expect you to be able to submit quality and original outputs.

— 16 -1ST CLASSROOM VIRTUAL MEETING Submit quality and original outputs. Plagiarism (copying the work of others) is a crime. Remember that. On top of that, you may be able to deceive your teachers and classmates, but you can never deceive yourself. Honesty nurtures better learning.

— 17 — ENGLISH CLASS • BLUE MEADOWS ACADEMY ATTENDANCE For the modular learners, your attendance will be monitored through your summative assessments. There are at least 4 written works and 4 performance tasks required per quarter. Each summative assessment is equivalent to 6 days of attendance. You need to have a maximum of 20% equivalents absences to pass a particular subject.

-1ST CLASSROOM VIRTUAL MEETING This is a scheduled plan that you need to follow religiously in answering your modules. This is helpful to avoid lags on the submission of your answer sheets and the delay of the checking of your scores and computation of your GRADES. Weekly Home Learning PLAN — 18

— 19 -1ST CLASSROOM VIRTUAL MEETING Structure your learning hours. As much as possible, make sure that you accomplish all your academic activities during class hours (8am-12nn/1pm-5pm). After that, you may have time for household chores and leisure. Negotiate with your parents as regards to the structuring of your learning hours. This will help you a lot in managing your time.

— 20 -1ST CLASSROOM VIRTUAL MEETING Be time conscious You will be given a class schedule which indicates the time that you may contact your class adviser or subject teachers. Kindly observe the given schedule. As much as we wish to cater all your queries, teachers must also practice self-care and work-life balance. As such, your teachers will be pleased if you refrain from contacting them after office hours (5:00 pm).

Feedback FORMS Please take note of the form that you may accomplish in terms of difficulty in managing and understanding your lessons presented in the modules. — 21 -1ST CLASSROOM VIRTUAL MEETING Do not forget to send your feedback every distribution and retrieval date. Use Form A.3. Learning Feedback Tool per learning area as to this matter.

— 22 The “Pass All Rule” is never true -1ST CLASSROOM VIRTUAL MEETING — 09 If you think that “makapasar man ako gihapon” without complying your requirements, we tell you it is not possible. We may have been generous in the previous school year considering that the learning context is new, but we will never tolerate those who are mocking such generosity. You will surely fail if you invest no effort in submitting your required outputs.

— 23 — ENGLISH CLASS • BLUE MEADOWS ACADEMY — 09 Above all, remember that this is our shared journey . We must help each other. We can only make this year a fruitful one if we work together on this.

It is time for you to raise any questions that you would like me to answer. Open FORUM — 24
