IA will consist of the following components: Assignments (20 Marks) : Students will prepare one written and one oral assignments. In-Class Participation (10 Marks) CSE ( Term End Simulation-20 Marks): Students will carry out simulated tasks at the end of the semester. It would comprise individual and group tasks. Viva (25 Marks): Viva will be conducted at the end of the semester. It will be based on the CSE, Term Work, Assignments and topics covered in the syllabus. Term Work (25 Marks) (Term-End Presentation) : Students will make a presentation based on topics provided by the faculty at the end of the semester. ESE (50 Marks) The students will write a question paper as per the schedule of the exam.

Rules strictly to be followed by the Students : Students should maintain silence in the class. Talking, chatting, whispering, passing comments to anyone or using any electronic gadget is strictly prohibited in the class. Students should follow the instructions given by the faculty member. Shouting/arguing with any faculty member is strictly prohibited and disciplinary action can be taken for the same. Students should not create chaos (noises) while doing activity/s. They should discuss with their friend/partner but slowly and not so loudly.

In case, the faculty member permits the students to use electronic gadget, the students can do so but not without the permission of faculty member. Students should not chew chewing gum in the class. In case, if anyone is found chewing, disciplinary action can be taken. Students should behave politely with the faculty member. Going to the washroom/outside repeatedly is not allowed. For refreshment purpose, you should use your break time.   Note: All these rules have been made not to dominate the students. These rules should be followed both by students and faculty member for smooth conduction of lectures/classes.
