3. OBJECTIVES By the end of the presentation, the pupil will be able to: d efine what output devices are. i dentify at least three examples of output devices. s tate at least three uses of output device.

4. PRE-REQUISITE SKILLS Pupils already have knowledge on the definition of input devices. Pupils can identify some examples of input devices. The pupils have been seeing and feeling output devices.

5. DEFINITION Output devices are the devices that are used to display the results.  The output devices are used to display processed data, create printed copies, and play music or movies in a computer. Output devices are the devices that enable information to be accessed(heard or viewed) by the user.

6. DEFINITION Output devices are pieces of hardware that are used to display or output data which has been processed or has been stored on the computer. The devices which are used to display the data to the user either in the form of hard copy or soft copy are called output devices .

13. USES OF OUTPUT DEVICES The monitor is used to display instructions sent to the computer by the user as well as results/information sent from the computer back to the user. The printer is used to print a report or hardcopy, after data or information has been processes. Speakers receive the sound in the form of electric current from the sound card & convert it to sound format. Sound Speakers enable the computer user (live ware) to hear sound that is been played inside the computer externally.

14. USES OF OUTPUT DEVICES A projector can be used to display presentation programs on a large screen for viewing by a large number of people. A Projector is an output device that project and display video, images or computer data on a screen or other flat form. A potter is used to produce graphical output on paper.
