CCMP is not just another change management certificate Results from an educational process Demonstrates knowledge of content at the end of a finite period of time, usually based on course content delivered Usually does not require recertification Generally has no expiry date Based on standards set by a thorough, defensible , industry-wide process resulting in a clear definition of required knowledge or skills Indicates mastery of knowledge usually assessed through a rigorously developed and validated exam delivered under controlled conditions to ensure integrity Requires work experience demonstrating a track record of success Awarded by third-party, standard-setting organization unaffiliated with a commercial entity Typically results in a designation which allows a practitioner to add letters behind their name Requires recertification to ensure the practitioner remains current through education and participation in the profession 17 Certification – recognition for individuals meeting standards set by a third party Certificate Certification

ANSI/ISO/IEC 17024 Harmonizes the personnel certification process worldwide Is an International accreditation for organizations operating certifications of persons Requires a rigorous application/approval process of the organization conveying the certification Prestigious accreditation only awarded after in depth third party analysis of certification program operations, policies and procedures Requires annual surveillance Will complete another valuable milestone for ACMP as many global government entities prefer/require certification programs that have met the strict requirements of being “accredited” 22

Eligibility to Apply for the CCMP™ Credential Formal Edu cation Experience 1 Training 2 Secondary degree (high school diploma, associate’s degree or global equivalent ) Minimum of five years/ 60 months of professional change management experience during which at least 7,000 hours were spent as a change management lead or practitioner 21 hours of change management instructor-led training within the past five years Four-year degree (bachelor’s degree or global equivalent)   Minimum of three years/36 months of professional change management experience during which at least 4,200 hours were spent as a change management lead or practitioner 21 hours of change management instructor-led training within the past five years Answer three out of five essay questions on change management experience Training should be instructor-led, in person or online (self-directed study not allowed for initial application) 25
