Overview of the Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP) designation

The Association of Change Management Professionals (ACMP) has begun development of a new certification for change management professionals. The Certified Change Management Professional™ (CCMP™) will be released in 2016 in response to rising demand for a global, experience-based designation in change management.

Eligibility to Apply for the CCMP™ Credential Formal Edu cation Experience 1 Training 2 Secondary degree (high school diploma, associate’s degree or global equivalent ) Minimum of five years/ 60 months of professional change management experience during which at least 7,000 hours were spent as a change management lead or practitioner 21 hours of change management instructor-led training within the past five years Four-year degree (bachelor’s degree or global equivalent)   Minimum of three years/36 months of professional change management experience during which at least 4,200 hours were spent as a change management lead or practitioner 21 hours of change management instructor-led training within the past five years Answer three out of five essay questions on change management experience Training should be instructor-led, in person or online (self-directed study not allowed for initial application) 25
