Curriculum Overview Examination Our school will hold a school examination at the end of Term 1. The exam will serve as a benchmark to assess student learning and knowledge retention after an initial period of instruction. In Terms 2, 3, and 4, the emphasis shifts towards project-based learning. Students will engage in projects that allow them to apply their knowledge and skills in a more creative and comprehensive manner. These projects will be rigorously assessed to evaluate student understanding, critical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and communication skills.

Morning Routines Students who come to school before 7.30 am, can go up and line up in front of their classroom until the Form Teacher or Co-Teacher comes. The checking of attendance starts at 7:30am and a student is considered late if he/she arrives at 7:31 am in the classroom. When a student arrives later than 7.30 am , he/she should get a late note from the teacher on duty and submit it to their Form Teacher in the class. The day begins with a class devotion, prayer or assembly. The students are given time to unpack and settle their belongings. After prayer, students write their agenda with the Form Teacher. Agenda should be signed by the Form Teacher and the parent everyday to ensure good communication between school and home. The lesson starts at 7.45 am.

Recess & Lunch Routines Students will have their recess at 09.30-09.50 and lunch at 12.10-12.45. At recess and lunch time, students will go to the school canteen to eat. After they finish eating, they may go to the playground, basketball court, or library for recess and lunch break (with the supervision of teachers on duty). When the recess or lunch break finishes, students will line up in front of the class and wait for the teacher to enter the classroom.

Dismissal Routines Lessons finish at 14.30. After the last lesson finishes, the Form Teacher will lead the students to do the Examen . Examen means "reflection" in Latin. It's a chance for students to take a few quiet moments to think about their day. It will help the students to develop self-awareness and appreciate the good things happening during the day. Students might also update their Agenda for important items shared by teachers.

Dismissal Routines At dismissal time, students will line up with their Form teacher in front of their classroom. To ensure a smooth pick-up process, parents can drop off their child's pick-up card in the designated box located in the school lobby. A teacher on duty will then check the box, call the student's name, and escort them to reunite with their waiting parent. We kindly ask that parents pick up their children within 15 minutes of dismissal. If there are unforeseen circumstances that will make you late in picking up your child, please let your child's form teacher know as soon as possible via GChat.
