Hunters Trap

There was a large
banyan tree on
which many species
of birds came to eat

the tree's fruits.

called Kaka made
this tree his home.
Many birds who
used to come to
the tree
became friends
with Kaka.

As he was flying one day towards
the city for collecting food, he
sighted a man carrying a net and
some seeds. He was briskly
approaching the tree.

The crow sensed danger that this man was a
hunter and has come to trap the birds on the tree.
He decides to go back and alert his friends.

He reached the banyan tree
and told all the birds,
“Friends, | have seen a hunter
carrying seeds with him,
which he will scatter around
the tree to lure you. Please
don't trust him and avoid
eating the seeds as he is also
carrying a net along with him
to trap you all.”

The hunter came very
nearby to the tree,
spread the seeds and
thereafter spread the
net. He left the spot and
sat elsewhere not to
arouse the suspicion of
the birds.

Kaka, all of the birds
