angular,1-4mmindiameter,paleyellow,withdarkmargins.
•Ifleavesareseverelyinfected,theyturnbrownanddie.When

lowersthefruityield.
•Onthelowersurface,thelesionsarecoveredwithmassesof
fungalsporeswhichappearasdarkdots.

disease.
•Protectantfungicidesthatcontaincopper,
mancozeb,orchlorothalonilcanalsobeusedto
managepapayablackspot.Whenusing
fungicides,besuretospraytheundersidesof
theleaveswherethesporesareproduced.
