2. Regular verbs There are three different ways to pronounce the ' ed ' ending of regular verbs in the simple past tense: / Id / , / t / or / d /. The pronunciation depends on the sound at the end of the infinitive of the main verb and whether it is  voiced  or not.

4. M ost regular verbs add – ed to the base form of the verb ( worked, wanted, helped .....) T here are many common irregular verbs ( go-went, meet-met, see-saw,.....)

6. NEGATIVE: DIDN´T ( Did not ) We use the auxiliary : DID and the infinitive verb . For All the pronouns . Affirmative Negative I played soccer I DIDN´T PLAY soccer She ate pizza She DIDN´T EAT pizza They went to Cancún. They DIDN´T GO to Cancún
