Tipe - Tipe User Interface 01 Command Line Interface (CLI) CLI   adalah program yang memungkinkan pengguna mengetik perintah teks yang memerintahkan komputer untuk melakukan tugas tertentu . 02 Graphical User Interface (GUI) GUI adalah suatu sistem yang membuat para pengguna atau user memapu berinteraksi dengan suatu perangkat komputer yang digunakan oleh si user tersebut . GUI sendiri dapat dikendalikan menggunakan beberapa macam alat input, seperti mouse, keyboard, touchscreen, dan lain sebagainya . 03 Direct Manipulation Antarmuka yang pengoprasian dilakukan secara langsung . Interaksi langsung pada direct manipulation dilakukan dengan objek pada layar sehingga aktifitas akan dikerjakan oleh computer.

Tipe - Tipe User Interface 04 Menu Selection Memberikan beberapa pilihan kepada user berbentuk daftar menu yang isinya adalah perintah kepada computer sesuai dengan menu yang terdaftar , nama perintah yang dijalankan harus sesuai dengan nama pilihan menu. Contoh : CUT, PASTE, COPY. 05 Form fill-in ( pengisian form) Cara sebuah system untuk meminta data atau informasi dari user dengan memberi petunjuk kepada user untuk mengisi area-area dan melengkapi data pada kategori dan bagian-bagian yang telah disediakan oleh form.
