principles I was raised to respect and obey. The Catholic canon law (Can. 1056) stipulates that, the

The Louisiana Purchase was a major event in the growth of the United States of America. Purchased
from France for 15 million by Thomas Jefferson in 1803, it gave America twice the available land,
adding 827,000 square miles. Some may argue the Louisiana Purchase is unconstitutional, but
Jefferson found a way around that. The Constitution says land may be acquired through treaties such
as the Louisiana Purchase. After the accusation of the Louisiana Territory, Jefferson had an expedition
lead by Meriwether Lewis and William Clark. The goal of the expedition was to map the new territory
and find a quicker path to the Pacific Ocean. The entire expedition lasted a little longer than two years
to complete. The Louisiana Purchase was a deal between The United States and France over 827,000
square miles west of the Mississippi River. (Wilson, G. 2003) It allowed for major expansion and
growth for the small republic in 1803. What if France would have denied our efforts to acquire the

Food, it is essential to keep a person alive. Without food, one cannot obtain the energy that they need
to perform everyday activities. Fortunately, with today s technologies and the knowledge that
humanity has gained over the centuries, food is a commodity that is plentiful for many people.
However, the bountiful amount of food and easy access to it has caused humans to become ignorant in
how their food is made, grown, and how it gets to their table. Many are also ignorant to the different
categories that their food could be classified as. Such categories are organic, non organic, GMO s and
much more. However, as time moves on, citizens are taking greater interest in growing their education
on what they eat. They are learning about how it is grown, prepared, and what types are more
beneficial for them and their families. Unfortunately, many get their information from illegitimate
sources. These sources being media, un educational websites, blogs, and many forms of propaganda.
The information that the illegitimate sources give out cause the true information to become censored
in a way. Where it is now hard for consumers to determine, what is the correct information and what is
