•PG FOILS wholly Indian owned Plant of the Country, having latest
modern machinery and technical know-how.
•It is located above 71 km from pali district in a village pipaliya kalan.
•Commissioned in 1962 by Late Shri Paras Raj Ji Jain.
•Unprocessed foil is used as a row material.
•All raw material in form of foil import from CHINA.
•Operated by PG FOILS GROUP, a ISO 9001:2008 standard company.
•It has five stage installed with 6000 metric tons production of foil per
annum.

made by hammering or rolling.
•Aluminum is most commonly used material.
•Aluminum foil is made from an
aluminum alloy which contains between 92
and 99 percent of aluminum.
•Foils are also easily made with malleable metals
like copper, tin, and gold.

.    Hard Aluminum Foil one side under coat with primer for printing and other   
     side coated with Heat Seal lacquer (HSL).
.     Surface of foil is matt and bright.
     Heat Seal Lacquer
•Color less Polymer of Vinyl Chloride.
•The Heat Seal Lacquer is suitable for sealing with PVC/PVDC.

Raw material for aluminum foil is simply
unprocessed foil having a thickness about 80 to 100
micron.
Aluminum is prefer for foil manufacturing because it
is inexpensive, durable, non-toxic.

•Reduce gauge of two foils at same time.
•Consist of two working and two backup rolls.
•Rubber roll are used for alignment of foils.
•X-ray gauge detecting device is used.
•Total 4 rolls used by which foils gauge reduced in
a control manner.
•Foil gauge is reduced from 100 micron to approx
20-25 micron.

•Annealing is used only for requirement of soft foil
•By annealing all the adhesive oil is removed over
the foil which is added during the rolling process.
•Rolling mills always leave some residual oil on the
surface that will need to be removed by annealing.
•After annealing, there is a fine balance between
incomplete degreasing which leads to adhesion
problems

•Roto gravure machine is used for printing of foil.
•It is a 7 motor driven system.
•Maximum speed of machine is 170m/min.
•Mainly two types 8 & 9 color.
•Cylinder Printing is used.
•Oil used for shining.
•Viscosity is different for different color type.
•ROTO GRAVURE =It is a technique in which
image is engraved on a printing cylinder and it
is inked into ink and subsequently and print the required one.

•By slitting machine edges of foils are cutted.
•By the slitting operation large rolls of material
are converted into narrow rolls.
•For soft material blades and knife use as a cutter.
•For hard material special cutter is used which
have a rough edge for cutting.

•99 percent of scrap will recycle.
•All produced scrap crushes and formed into a blocks of
scrap.
•Block of scrap is melted in furnance and formed in
aluminum shields.
•These aluminum shields are used to make wire.
