Governmentforthepurposeofpharmacyeducation.

d)AsocietyregisteredundertheSocietiesRegistrationAct,
1860(21of1860)orcorrespondingActsinStates.
e)Apublicreligiousorcharitabletrustregisteredunder
theTrustAct,1882(2of1882)ortheWakfsAct,1954(29
of1954).

Number of admissions in the above said courses are
restricted as below -
i)Pharm.D.course–30students.
Location of the Hospital
1.WithinthesamelimitsofCorporationorMunicipalityor
CampuswithMedicalFacultyinvolvementasadjunct
faculty.
2.Iftheinstitutionandhospitalarelocatedindifferent
CorporationorMunicipalityorCampus,thedistancebetween
thetwoshallnotbemorethan30kms.byroad.
Only one Pharm.Dinstitution can have the MOU with one
hospital.

Pre-requisite mandatory documents to be submitted:
i)ConsentofaffiliationofExaminingAuthority.
ii)MOUwith300beddedhospitalasperprescribed
requirementsunderregulation2)ofAppendix-BofPharm.D
Regulations,2008exceptinNorthEasternStatesandhilly
regionsofIndiawherehospitalwith300bedsstrengtharenot
available,theinstitutionsdesiringtoseekapprovalofPharm.D
coursearepermittedtosignaMemorandumofUnderstanding
withdistrictheadquarterhospitalwithavailablebedstrength.
TheprescribedformatofMOUisenclosedasAnnexure-IV.

a)Thesubmissionofabovedocumentwillbepre-requisitefor
accesstoapplicationinSIF(StandardInspectionForm)and
submissionofPharmacyEducationRegulatoryCharges.
b)OnlineapplicationinapplicableprescribedformcalledSIF
(StandardInspectionForm).
c)TheonlineapplicationshallbesubmittedonPCIportal
withintheprescribedtimeperiodasannouncedbythePCIon
itswebsitewww.pci.nic.in
