5. Introduction The general area of study concerned with the formulation , manufacture , stability , and effectiveness of pharmaceutical dosage forms is termed pharmaceutics.

6. Pharmaceutical formulation is the process in which different chemical substances, including the active  drug , are combined to produce a final  medicinal product .
