4. XYLEM AND PHLOEM This is the veins and arteries of the plant. This are tubes inside the vascular plant. The tubes that sends the water up from the roots to the rest pd the plant are called XYLEM. The tubes that send sugary food down from the leaves to the rest of the leaves are called PHLOEM. (It starts by flow) Inside every stem are bundles of these xylem and phloem. The bundles are called vascular bundless . 4
