Population change
Population
The world’s population has grown rapidly over the
past 100 years. This is due mainly to improved
food supplies and better medical knowledge. In
third world countries there is a ‘population
explosion’. This has left the world’s population at
over 6,800,000,000. If the population continues
to grow this rapidly then it will cause many
problems for the world.
Population Change
Birth Rate- This is the amount of people born per
year, per thousand.
Death Rate- This is the amount of people that die
per year, per thousand.
Natural change- This is the difference between
the two. There will either be a natural increase or a
natural decrease.
