4. My name is Mayplyn L. Macasling was born on July 21 , 199 5 . 20 years of age. Currently residing at Pob . Alcantara , Cebu.

5. I'm a third year student taking up Bachelor in Elementary Education at Cebu Technological University-Moalboal Campus.

7. Educational Technology is a “complex, integrated process involving people, procedures, ideas, devices and organization for analyzing problems and devising, implementing, and managing solutions to those problems involved in all aspects of human learning”.

8. Educational Technology “consists of the designs and environments that engage learners… and reliable techniques or method for engaging learning such as cognitive learning strategies and critical thinking skills.

9. Technology in Education It one of the terms associated with educational technology. It is a application of technology to any of those processes involved operating the instructions which house the educational enterprise

10. ROLES OF TECHNOLOGY LEARNING

11. Technology serves as source and presenter of knowledge. It is assumed that “knowledge is embedded in the technology and the technology presents that knowledge to a students”. Technology like computers is seen as productivity tool. The learner learns from the technology and the technology serves as a TEACHER . i . e as delivery vehicles for instructional lessons. 12. Educational Technology serves as learning tools to learn with. It engages learners in active, constructive, intentional, authentic and cooperative learning. It provides opportunities for technology and learner interaction for meaningful learning. i.e as partner a learning process. CONSTRUCTIVIST WAY

14. 1. Technology as tools to support knowledge construction : For representing learner‘s ideas, understanding, and beliefs For producing organized, multimedia knowledge bases by learners.

19. There are many reasons why educational technology is very important. There is a purpose why educational technology is taught in schools. 20. Using instructional material is an effective way of engaging the students to the real world situation. Nowadays, the teahers are discussing their lesson with the use of instructional medias Also, based on observation, the technology he lp us to have a better learning. 21. A future educator must know the know the right use of instructional medias so that the computer will never replace the teacher. The teacher must be the one who will manipulate the computer, it is just a material that will help the teacher and the student to be more connected to one another. 22. The technology will also help the teacher to easily give chances to the students that can excel in class by applying medias/computers in their learning process. There are instances that student is actively participating in the class when they are engage in using technology.
