daysandremovedwhenfullexpansionoftheright

Pneumothoraxiswhenairgetsintothepleural
cavity,oftenleadingtoafullyorpartially
collapsedlung.Therearefourtypesof
pneumothorax.
Theyare:
1.Traumaticpneumothorax.
2.Tensionpneumothorax.
3.Primaryspontaneouspneumothorax.
4.Secondaryspontaneouspneumothorax.

Hydro-pneumothoraxisararevariant
typeofapneumothorax.Itconsistsof
bothfreefluidandairwithinthe
pleuralspace.Inthepediatric
population,hydro-pneumothoraxhas
beenassociatedwithruptureofa
diaphragmatic hernia, after
thoracocentesis,andtraumaandwith
infectionssuchastuberculosis[1].
