What is Power Sharing? Why is it Important ?
Power sharing means the distribution of power among the organs of the government such as the legislature, executive, and judiciary. Power sharing is important because it helps in achieving the stability of political order.
- The Ethnic composition of Belgium - Belgium is a small country in Europe, smaller in area than the state of Haryana. *Haryana is 44,212 square kilometers , while Belgium is 30,689 square kilometers . It has borders with France, the Netherlands, Germany and Luxembourg. It has a population of a little over one crore , about half the population of Haryana.

The French-speaking was minority community, but was relatively rich and powerful. This made the Dutch-speaking community angry . This led to tensions between the Dutch-speaking and French-speaking communities during the 1950s and 1960s. The conflict between these two communities began in the 1950s and 1960s, and was more severe in Brussels, where the majority of the population speaks Dutch, but a minority in the capital. .
