Lesson Title: Interpreting Literature through Visual Arts

Objectives: At the end of the lesson, students will be able to complete the following with atleast 75% of mastery: A. Identify the role of visual arts in developing the literacy skills among children. B. Appreciate the uses of visual arts through literacy skills. C. Create a one example of the visual arts.

LITERATURE - is a body of work, either written, oral, or visual, containing imaginative language that realistically portrays to emotion, and experiences of the human condition.

VISUAL ARTS - refers to art forms that express their message, meaning, and emotion through visual means.

INTERPRETING LITERATURE THROUGH VISUAL ARTS - Literate practices and strategies that enable individuals to understand, synthesize and communicate about artist, artworks, audiences, and art practices and relationship between them.
