OUR TOPIC IS FOCUSING ON SELF CONFIDENCE LEVEL AND BARRIER TO CLASS ORAL PERFORMANCE AMONG GRADE 12 HUMSS STUDENTS IN THE S.Y 2024-2025

We prompted to choose this research topic because, we are HUMSS students and some of us had a problem of self confidence on oral. So we want to know is the reason or there is a common reason of this problem, t hat we can give some solution to this problem, and to help some students that had a problem on self confidence.

SELF CONFIDENCE LEVEL AND BARRIER TO CLASS ORAL PERFORMANCE AMONG GRADE 12 HUMSS STUDENTS

Specifically, it seeks to answer the following Question: 1.What are the common barriers to the class oral performance among Grade 12-HUMSS students ? 2.What is the most dominant barriers to the self-confidence of grade 12 HUMMS student oral performance? 3.What is the self-confidence level pertaining to the common barriers in the oral performance of grade 12 HUMSS students? 4. What possible education classroom activities can be suggested to address the findings of the study? STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM

RESEARCH HYPOTHESIS Null hypothesis : The average self-confidence level of Grade 12 in HUMSS students in oral Performance is either significantly higher level than a moderate level.

RESEARCH DESIGN In order to give reliable and sufficient information’s, the beginning of this chapter explains the research design that is scrutinize in the study. This study will utilize a correlational research design.

The research design that is scrutinize in the study. This study will utilize a correlational research design. This design will allow us to explore the relationship between two or more variables. In this case self-confidence and barriers to class oral performance. By examining the correlation between these variables we can determine the extent to which self- confidence influences.

METHODOLOGY The chapter represents the research design population and sample research instruments discuss analysis research procedure and statistical method the research chapter design will be employed utilizing.

RESERCH INSTRUMENTS This researchers will utilize survey questionnaires through hard copy questionnaires will be an necessary tool that will be answered by grade 12 senior high school students to get the important data’s that will needed in the research study. Research instrument for this study will be a structured questionnaire Barriers to Class Oral Performance, will identify and assess the barriers students face when participating in oral presentations .

The questionnaire will include a list of potential barriers, and students will be asked to indicate the extent to which each barrier affects their performance using a Likert scale, students will be asked to rate their agreement with each statement on a scale of 1 (Not all) to 5 (extremely).  

Survey questions through Likert scale where proven to more reliable and effective because it’s easy to draw conclusions and the data’s gathered are more understandable especially in a quantitative type of research (Cleave, 2017).
