Research Design One basic rule holds that an avenue to the approach of truth is the employment of the experimental and descriptive design with intense accuracy to surface out the meaningful aspects of the data from those phenomena observed during the process of the investigation. An experiment is a study in which a treatment, procedure, or program is intentionally introduced and a result or outcome are observed and compared . Thus, the term descriptive describes the essential character of the method.
Respondents of the Study The respondents of the study will come from the district of Magdalena, the seventh graders specifically section Sampaguita of the said school will be the center of the study.
Sampling Technique Purposive sampling will be employed in this study among (30) thirty seventh graders in Magdalena National High school hence they will be purposely selected as the actual respondents during the day set for the gathering and retrieving of data from them. As claimed by Van (2023), purposive is etymologically derived from an old French word, “ purposer ” which denotes purpose. As applied to educational research, once something is set up with intention, it has a purpose as a resolute determination to gather data from the target respondents and thus assure the validity and reliability of information shared by them.
Research Procedure As there is assurance for validity and reliability of the major instrument coupled with the approval by the thesis adviser to conduct an actual study, letters addressed to the principal of selected school in Magdalena district in Laguna will be prepared, requesting permission to distribute two sets of questionnaire to seventh graders as actual respondents of this study. As approval is granted by the said school authorities, the distribution and retrieval of the aforementioned two sets of major instrument will be done personally by the researcher in order to clarify questions which will be found highly technical in nature by the actual respondents.
Research Instrument Two sets of activity and questionnaire will be issued to the actual respondents of this study. The items in the said questionnaires will be based on the basic problems advanced in this study for objectivity, relevance and suitability to the problem areas investigated, as well as probability of favorable reception and return from the said respondents.
Statistical Treatment The responses of the control group of respondents will be tallied and tabulated in order to determine the frequencies and equivalent percentages as basis for the application of the formulas. Weighted mean formula which is designed to solve the centrality as basis for the weight of the responses for sub problems 1, 2 and 3. Standard deviation formula designed to know the variability or dispersion of data around the mean.
