A. Give
Faithfully
Genesis 28:20-22
20 And Jacob vowed a vow,
saying, If God will be with me,
and will keep me in this way that
I go, and will give me bread to
eat, and raiment to put on,
Genesis 28:20-22
21 So that I come again to my
father's house in peace; then
shall the Lord be my God:
Genesis 28:20-22
22 And this stone, which I have
set for a pillar, shall be God's
house: and of all that thou shalt
give me I will surely give the
tenth unto thee.
B. Give
Proportionately
I Corinthians 16:1-2
Now concerning the collection for the
saints, as I have given order to the
churches of Galatia, even so do ye.
Upon the first day of the week let every
one of you lay by him in store, as God
hath prospered him, that there be no
gatherings when I come.
C. Give
Generously
2 Corinthians 9:6
But this I say, He which
soweth sparingly shall reap
also sparingly; and he which
soweth bountifully shall
reap also bountifully.
D. Give
Cheerfully
2 Corinthians 9:7
Every man according as he
purposeth in his heart, so let
him give; not grudgingly, or
of necessity: for God loveth a
cheerful giver.
E. Give
Sacrificially
2 Corinthians 8:1-2
1 Moreover, brethren, we do
you to wit of the grace of God
bestowed on the churches of
Macedonia;
2 How that in a great trial of
affliction the abundance of
their joy and their deep
poverty abounded unto the
riches of their liberality.
Examples

Acts 4:36

Conclusion
There are different stages in
giving: Tithing is basic, also
giving proportionately. But
cheerful giving is giving
sacrificially. We must be givers.
Pastors must be givers.
Acts 20:33
Acts 20:33-35
33 I have coveted no man's silver, or gold,
or apparel.
34 Yea, ye yourselves know, that these
hands have ministered unto my
necessities, and to them that were with me.
Acts 20:33-35
35 I have shewed you all things, how that
so labouring ye ought to support the weak,
and to remember the words of the Lord
Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to
give than to receive.
Members must be tithers and givers.
