WHY SHOULD PREGNANT WOMEN EXERCISE? All pregnant women without contra indications should be encouraged to exercise. Habits adopted during pregnancy could affect a woman’s health. Women with complicated pregnancy are discouraged from exercising for fear of aggravating the complications.
