Sulfacetamide -Testing/Analysis Testing/Analysis : Dilute the Sample with water to 25 mL, adjust with 6 N acetic acid to a pH of 4–5, and filter. Wash the precipitate with water, and dry at 105° for 2 h. Use the precipitate in Identification tests B and C. Acceptance criteria: The sulfacetamide melts at 180°– 184°C.
