4. Consolidated Report of 2020-21 There was no major disaster in Gharda Institute of Technology in academic year 2020-21. Committee met twice, once in January and then in July to review the situation and suggested some measures. It also ensured the sanitizer points at strategic locations and handwash at the basins, washrooms etc. A. Minutes of the Meeting A meeting of disaster management cell was held on 12.01.2021. The agenda was ‘reviewing current measures with respect Covid 19 and suggesting additional measures if needed’. Covid appropriate behaviour was discussed and importance of the same was emphasized. It was decided to increase number of sanitizer points and communicate the requirements to the purchase department. It was decided that the workshop staff will fabricate required number of sanitizers stands and wooden boxed for hand wash.

5. Disaster management cell Meeting (communication team) 30.07.2021 Online meeting of disaster management was held on 30.07.2021, 10.30 am to review the disaster management measures. 1. Members felt the need to increase awareness about Covid appropriate behavior. 2. It was decided to make the masks available for the students at the entry points (on paid basis) when students physically start attending the college. 3. Members felt need to increase awareness about vaccination and remove misunderstandings if any about the same. 4. Availability of sanitizers and hand wash at various locations was discussed. 5. It was decided to meet again in June-July to review the measures. 6. In addition to university guidelines, measures required if any will be suggested. 7. Guest lectures on the Disaster management will be organized.
