UNDER THE SEA Ocean is full of strange sea animals, plants and other mysterious things. We have collected some of them in this ''under the sea'' ppt presentation
DEEP SEA LIFE Ocean covers more then two thirds of the earth's surface, and they arevery deep! Fish and other animals make their homes in all different parts of the sea, evn on the bottom,or sea floor. The sea is also filled with lots of plants ,which provide food, homes, and protection of sea animals
OCEAN ANIMALS Box jellyfish: The bodies of box jellyfishes have tiny darts that are loaded with poison. Once stung by them, humans and animals can experience cardiac arrest, paralysis, or even death . COD :a deep-sea fish, formerly a staple food in Europe and America, now greatly reduced in numbers in the Atlantic Dolphin : an intelligent, vocal, social sea mammal Blue Whale: the world’s largest marine animal. Bull Shark: an aggressive shark that can thrive in both salt water and fresh water. The immortal jellyfish, also known as the Benjamin Button jellyfish, is one of few known animals that can regenerate and live forever, and the only jellyfish species that has an indefinite lifespan
OCEAN ANIMALS The term deep sea creature refers to animals that live below the photic zone of the ocean. These creatures must survive in extremely harsh conditions, such as hundreds of bars of pressure, small amounts of oxygen, very little food, no sunlight, and constant, extreme cold. Most creatures have to depend on food floating down from above. Box Jelifis :The bodies of box jellyfishes have tiny darts that are loaded with poison. Once stung by them, humans and animals can experience cardiac arrest, paralysis, or even death.
SEA ANIMAL- GELLYFISH Box jellyfish: The bodies of box jellyfishes have tiny darts that are loaded with poison. Once stung by them, humans and animals can experience cardiac arrest, paralysis, or even death.
corals Corals are marine invertebrates within the class Anthozoa of the phylum Cnidaria. They typically form compact colonies of many identical individual polyps. Coral species include the important reef builders that inhabit tropical oceans and secrete calcium carbonate to form a hard skeleton.
plants There are five types of ocean plants: phytoplankton, red algae, kelp, seagrass, and sargassum. These sea plants fall into three groups: euphotic (sunlight), disphotic (twilight), and aphotic (midnight). Which group they are in is dependent on how much sunlight they need to survive There are thousands of different types of plants found in the ocean, and all of them are affected by the amount of available sunlight, salinity levels, and the temperature of the water. Ocean plants are rarely talked about, but with 70 percent of the world covered in water, they play a vital role in oxygenating oceans around the world, protecting certain species of aquatic animals from predators and outside elements (including human activities), and helping animals thrive by being their primary food source.
