3. INTRODUCTION A School Time-table is a table for co-ordinating these four elements. STUDENTS TEACHERS ROOMS TIME SLOTS (PERIODS)

4. School Time-Table is a very important instrument which shows the success of school. It is the initial point of school system.

5. it ensures smooth and orderly working of the school . It prevents wastage of time and energy. It ensures equitable distribution of work among teachers. It ensures equitable distribution of time to different subjects and activities. It helps in adjusting school work according to the needs of pupils. It helps in the formulation of good habits. It helps in school discipline. IMPORTANCE The Time-Table is necessary tool for the different working of a school.

7. Master Time-Table This time-table gives a complete, correct and comprehensive picture of the entire school program. This time table is meant to be used by the principal. It helps in supervising the teachers work.

8. Class-wise Time-table This time-table shows the daily program of a class. It defines distribution of each subject for each class.

9. Teacher-Wise Time-Table This time-table focuses on the teacher. This is useful for teachers as it indicates where he/she will teach which subject.

10. Vacant period Time-Table It is a special time-table which shows the vacant periods of all the teachers should also be prepared. This will be helpful in allotting work when some teacher is on leave.

11. Games time-table This indicates the games which class will be involved with at a particular time. This time-table shows which particular group engaged in a particular game at a particular time.

12. Co-curricular time-table This time-table will facilitate and systematize the organization of these important activities in a school. It will be showing the different types of activities in the school.

13. Home work time-table This type of time-table is very important to manage the burden of homework which is assigned to students. It also helps parents to know what home-work has been assigned.
