INTRODUCTION Youtube is the digital technology which is being progressively used for educational purposes. Researchers across the world have stated youtube as a helpful tool for promoting student’s competence trough the interpretation of visual guide, particularly for English Discourse. ( Kabooha & Elyas,2015).

YouTube supports the learning process in English class. Youtube enhances students' English skills, such as reading skills, writing skills, listening skills, vocabulary lists, and pronunciation . the use of YouTube in developing self-confidence in English public speaking has not been explored yet. Therefore, the present study aims to explore the role of YouTube in building students ’ self-confidence in English public speaking. Further, some strategies used in developing students’ self-confidence are discussed.

LITERATURE BACKGROUND YouTube videos can help improve students' speaking skills. The study was conducted on senior high student at one of the schools in Inabanga . The findings showed that the use of YouTube resulted in clear progress in the students' speaking skills, especially vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, and fluency. ( Riswandi , 2016).

Statement of the Problem 1 . What is the demographic profile of the respondents? 2. How YouTube become a beneficial tool in English class? 3. If so, which of the following subscales, fluency and coherence lexical resource, grammatical range and accuracy, and pronunciation, were most noticeably advance in the YouTube. 4. Is there a significant significant relationship between speaking performance progress in relation to YouTube Usage?
