2. What is Vikram Lander The Vikram lander was designed to study various aspects of the lunar environment. The lander and the Pragyan rover performed various experiments in 14 Earth days (i.e . one lunar day).

3. In Chandrayaan mission’s Vikram lander is named after ISRO founder Vikram Sarabhai. 3

6. CHANDRAYAAN MISSION MISSION -2 In Chandrayaan-2 mission just before Vikram was to touch down on the Moon, contact was lost at an altitude of 2 km (1.2 miles). MISSION - 3 In Chandrayaan-3 the Vikram lander touched down on the Moon on August 23, 2023. 6
