Challenges faced by vulnerable groups in
accessing digital technologies.
Digital Inequality: Many vulnerable groups, including the elderly, low-income individuals,
and those with limited education, may lack access to digital devices like smartphones or
computers, as well as reliable internet connectivity.
Limited Digital Literacy: Vulnerable populations often have lower levels of digital
literacy, making it difficult for them to navigate digital platforms, use online services, and
protect themselves online. This lack of skills can further exacerbate their exclusion from
the digital world
Financial Constraints: Low-income individuals may struggle to afford digital devices,
internet subscriptions, or necessary software, limiting their ability to engage with digital
technologies effectively.
Language and Literacy Barriers: Language differences and low literacy levels can pose
challenges for marginalized groups in accessing and understanding digital information.
