Definition Procedure text is a piece of text that give us instruction for doing something. Procedure text is a that is designed to describe how to make something . Is achieved through a sequence of actions or steps. O ther definition, Procedure is a specified series of actions or operations which have to be executed in the same manner in order to always obtain the same result under the same circumtances (For example, Emergency Procedures)

Social Function To Tell the reader how to do or make something throught a sequence of actions or steps. To show how something is done throught sequence of steps with enable the reader to achieve the goal.

Generic Structure 1. Goal : It is contain the purpose of the text or showing the purpose (Ex: How To Make A Rainbow Cake) 2. Material or Ingredients : It's contain of the materials that used in the process or telling the needed materials and it can be optional (Ex : The Material to cook omelette are eggs, onion, vegetable oil, and other) 3. Steps : It's contain of the steps to make something in the goal or describing the steps to achieve the purpose. (Ex: First cook the soup)
