Developer: Anuj Kumar Status : G Y R Scope of Initiative / Project Description Action Plan / Milestones This project focuses on assessing the reliability of mid-range diesel engines with a particular emphasis on critical components that are directly related to emission control . The goal of the assessment is to ensure these components maintain optimal performance throughout their operational life, adhering to stringent government emission regulations . This project has following outcomes and benefits:- Ensure that the selected components have the required reliability level, preventing any compromise to the engine's ability to meet government-mandated emission norms. Gain insights into component longevity and recommend improvements where necessary to enhance overall reliability. Current State / Achievements Learned about different concepts involved in process of Reliability Assessment: Learned about various reliability terms and tools. Learned about the engine components and gained insight about their working. Gained insights into classifying claims data by application and vehicle model. 29/08/2024 11/09/2024 Pre-processed claims data for all components and consolidated them into a single sheet. Conducted an analysis of MTTF using the ETV as a sample component for practice. 12/09/2024 27/09/2024 Prepared the SOP of the project.
