I. Identifying Information A computer is an electronic device operating under the control of instructors stored in its own memory that can accept data and store this information for future use.
II. Overview Before implementing the National Learning Camp, teachers found out that 60 out of 72 grade 7 students had low knowledge and skills in basic computer operations when they were told to handle computers. Basic operations such as turning on and off the computer, use of mouse and keyboard, and other things have truly affected their performance during the implementation of the NLC online test in school.
Innovation Description In response, the school will launch the project “EXCEL” or Exemplary, Computer Enhancement, and Literacy. The project aims to improve the computer literacy and skills of grade 7 students of Candelaria National High School. They will undergo a series of sessions on basic computer literacy.
Goal Statements The project aims to enhance or improve the computer literacy of the grade 7 students of Candelaria National High School. This has the following goals: 1. 100% of the grade 7 students have improved their computer literacy knowledge. 2. 100% of the grade 7 students know how to use computers effectively and efficiently.
