Project
Background
The International Labour Organization
(ILO) has appointed SHRDC to facilitate
the SILK project.
The SILK project aims to provide upskilling
opportunities specifically for women aged
18-30 working in the Food and Beverage
(F&B) services industry.
The SILK project's coverage is limited
to women in selected regions.
Eligibility: Companies must be in the Food and Beverage (F&B)
services industry
Income Requirement: Participants must provide a payslip to
show their salary is below RM4,800
Target Participants: Only women aged 18-30 are eligible to participate
Time Commitment: Companies must ensure participants can commit
attending the full 4-day program over 2 weeks (2 days per week). Training
dates can be mutually agreed upon between the company and SHRDC
How Can Company Participate
Training Venue: The participating company must provide a suitable
training room with necessary training essentials such as a
whiteboard, flip charts, etc.

COMPUTER LITERACY

about online security best
practices, including safe

management, etc.

effective techniques to improve
their overall communication skills
including verbal and nonverbal.

Keen, What's Next
Group Participants: Participants will be grouped in batches of 20, with specific
schedules allocated for each batch.
First Come, First Serve: Registration will be processed on a first-come, first-
served basis. Early registration increases the chances of securing a spot in
the SILK program.
Commitment to 4-Day Training: Participants must commit to attending the
full 4-day training program without absences for effectiveness of the training.

Certificate of Attendance
Participants who attend the full 4-day
training program will receive a certificate
acknowledging their attendance.

digital resources to support their learning.
