CHAPTER 1 INTRODUCTION
Practice Teaching ( Ebrahim et al., 2017). Is a common feature of any teacher education program. It is the practical use of teaching methods and strategies that the student-teacher learned in the college. ( Chikezie , 2017). The purpose of practice teaching is to develop several competencies in the student teacher (interpersonal , pedagogical, intercultural, and psychological competencies). Background of the Study
Statement of the Problem What is the profile of respondents in terms of age, sex, and program? What is the level of the problems encountered by student teachers during their practice teaching as a whole and when classified according to age, sex, and program? Is there a significant difference in the problems encountered by student teachers when classified according to age, sex, and program?
Hypothesis There is no significant difference in the problems encountered by student teachers when classified according to age, sex, and program?
