Psychoanalytic Theories 1. ID (Internal desires) – is called internal drives or instinctive drives. 2. Ego (reality) - is the ‘I’ part of the individual that gives a sense of our own identity that conform with existing societal consideration. 3. Super-ego (conscience) – is the part of the personality concerned with precepts, standards , ideas , ‘conscience’ and ‘moral judge of one’s conduct. Note: Each part develop at different stages in a person’s life.
