Quality Management
Process
1. Do you have to deliver a new service,
partnership, client request, report, word
report, excel data report, or any piece of
work for a client or supplier or
internally?
YES
2. For work and tasks that are
producedstaff can apply the Swiss
cheese model for quality control.
(Another Method can be chosen if
decided they are requirements for it).
3. Upon review of the work or tasks that
need to take place. A set of quality
control criteria should be created.
Note: This is a simple but highly
effective quality control procedure.
This is a series of checks by different
staff members and / or cross checks
to different docs and / or data.
Each document created or
implementation of work can have a
different quality control criteria
applied.
4. The quality control approach
applied must be relevant to the work
that is taking place.
5. A system of checks and controls
should be established to ensure
quality of the work and to
element errors or mistakes where
possible.
6. If this is a word document that
will be sent out for example, this
could simply mean another
member of staff checking the
document before it is sent out. If
it is a more advanced excel spread
sheet, this may require checks
from 3 people and also extracting
raw data to compare to data in
the spread sheet.
End of process.
