REMOTE CONTROL AND MONITORING OF WATER LEVEL IN A WATER TANK
Introduction Current situation Components Group Description Advantages Final Note Concept Used Problems faced
INTRODUCTION Basically, we are working over here to build a circuit smart enough to cut off the water input by measuring the height of the water level in a water tank of known specifics. The objective behind building this circuit is to decrease the amount of water loss caused due to human negligence. This project is going to be highly useful in the future when a compact model will be required that can regulate the water flow input.
COMPONENTS ARDUINO UNO R3 CHANNEL RELAY MODULE HC-SR04 ULTRASONIC SENSOR SUBMERSIBLE MINI WAATER PUMP 3-6 V MB 102 BREAFDBOARD JUMPER WIRES SILICON WIRES WATER TANK PIPE
ADVANTAGES The model will eliminate the requirement of human indulgence in the regulation of water level in households or commercial purposes. It will undoubtedly reduce infact square off the water loss. The model is highly cost effective to build and if designed in a very compact way will be very small in size too.
CONCEPT In this model we used an Arduino to regulate a mini water pump via a relay module and DC power source, with the help of an ultrasonic sensor. The function of an ultrasonic sensor is to measure the distance of any disturbance
Problems Faced The length of the wires available with us was too small that made the setup a bit messy. The team had zero experience in writing codes for circuit though we figured it out with the help of web. While making an E-circuit of TinkerCAD all components were not available on the software so we had to substitute the components with an LED. The main problem that we are currently facing is the connection of the water pump to the relay module and the power source.
CURRENT SITUATION At this speaking minute the model that we prepared is not completely functioning. The Arduino circuit in itself is working completely fine both on TinkerCAD and physically. The code that we entered is to the point. The final problem that we are stuck with is the connection of the water pump to the relay module and the power source. We have tried both parallel and series combination but ultimately we are left empty handed. It may be the case of a faulty water pump that may be the case.

FINAL NOTE We are extremely dishearted to sign this off for now on a negative note. We understand that we do have the potential to build it. It has been a great tenure on working on this amazing project with a highly supportive team. It has been one of challenge working on this project. But we really enjoyed working on it. THANKING YOU YOUR’S SINCERELY
