Development of On-line Counseling Website for High School Students Aim/Objective The main objective of this study is to develop a Website for On-line counseling at Ampid National High School Specifically, the study aimed to: Design and develop the computer-assisted counseling Website in providing counseling services to the students, Test the effectiveness of On-line Counseling in terms of social, personal, and financial/economic behavior of students. Evaluate the performance of the project in terms of applicability, functionality, workability, durability, and safety.

It can easily address their academics’ personal issues School Counselors are easily to responds to the students’ academic, social and personal problems

This may lead to an increased level of honesty and therefore higher validity in the case of self-disclosure.

On-line counseling , in which the mode of communication is often through writing via emails or a chat room, allows both the students and the School counselor to pay close attention to their communication and reflect on their thoughts and feelings prior to it being expressed. This may be a particularly suitable way of communication for those who experience difficulty expressing themselves in words.

7. Development of On-line Counseling Website for High School Students Impact The Internet is not just for chatting with friends and relatives anymore. Although the Internet has made communication easier with emails, chat rooms, and instant messaging services, many people have also found the World Wide Web to be helpful in obtaining information. It was only a matter of time before the availability of easy communication resources merged together to form what is now known as online counseling. Online counseling can easily address students academic and personal problems such as Bullying,   Relationship with family and Parents, Substance Abuse, Decisions about major, career, or just higher education in general.

8. THEORETICAL framework Person- Centered Therapy (Carl Rogers) Person- Centered Therapy is a foundational theory in counseling which emphasizes empathy , unconditional positive regard , and genuineness . It supports the idea that individuals have the capacity for self-growth when they feel understood and accepted. In the context of an online counseling website: The platform should provide a safe, non-judgmental space for students. Features such as anonymous messaging or self-help content reflect Rogers’ principles of client autonomy and confidentiality . The design must promote emotional support and student- centered interaction , even in a digital format.

9. Methodology This study will utilize a Research and Development (R&D) design , specifically guided by the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). This design is appropriate for creating and evaluating an educational product—in this case, an online counseling website tailored for high school students . The research will be conducted at Ampid National High School , located in San Mateo, Rizal. The school serves a diverse population of high school students who are potential users of the proposed online counseling platform.
