Resource Allocation in UAV-Assisted Non-Orthogonal Multiple Access Caching Networks Research

Background UAV -assisted emergency communications (a) earthquake (b) flood (c) mudslide Base station (BS) and ground power system are damaged. How to rescue during the “golden 72 hours” ?

User Content Placement link UAV Content Delivery link BS Background UAV-Assisted Wireless Caching Network Content placement: BS sends important files to the UAV, which is equipped with a storage module. Content delivery: UAV sends files to users, without accessing the core network.

Background Transmission Model In UAV deployment layer, BS deploys the locations of UAVs and associates each user with an UAV based on the distribution of users. In content placement layer, BS sends popular files to all UAVs. In content delivery layer, the UAV pair s the users according to the channel gain and serves a NOMA user pair simultaneously. However, if the UAV did not cache the file requested by the user, the user will be served by BS. It is the traditional transmission via backhaul links.

Background Orthogonal Multiple Access (OMA) Non-Orthogonal Multiple Access (NOMA) Time Division Multiple Access (TDMA): Orthogonal time slots are allocated to users Frequency Division Multiple Access (FDMA): Orthogonal frequency channels are allocated to users.
