Rhyme What is Rhyme ? Rhyme is the repetition of similar sounding words occurring at the end of lines in poems or songs. A rhyme is a tool utilizing repeating patterns that bring rhythm or musicality to poems. Rhyme is employed for the specific purpose of rendering a pleasing effect to a poem, which makes its recital an enjoyable experience. For instance all nursery rhyme contain rhyming words in order to learning.

Function of Rhyming word... Rhyme partly seems to be enjoyed simply as a repeating pattern that is pleasant to hear. The regular use of tail rhyme helps to mark of the ends of lines thus clarifying the metrical structure for the listener. As with other poetic techniques poets use it to suit their own purpose for example “William Shakespeare often used a rhyming couplet to mark of the end of a scene in a play.”
Types of rhyme... The word rhyme can be used in a specific and general sense, two words, a rhyme is in the strict sense is also called a perfect rhyme. For example are sight and flight ,deign and gain, madness and sadness. TYPES OF RHYMES : Perfect Rhymes General Rhymes Syllabic Rhymes Imperfect Rhymes Alliteration Semi Rhymes
Perfect Rhymes : Perfect Rhymes can be classified according to the number of syllables included in the rhyme which is dictated by the location of the final stressed syllable. General Rhymes : In the general sense , general rhyme can refer to various kinds of phonetic similarity between words, and to the use of such similar sounding words in organizing verse Rhymes in this to the degree and manner of the phonetic similarity.
Alliteration : In this types rhymes matching words initial consonants in the poem. Semi rhymes : A rhyme with an extra syllables. Syllabic Rhymes : A rhyme in which the last syllable of each words sounds the same but does not necessarily contain stressed vowels. Imperfect rhymes : A rhyme between a stressed and an unstressed by syllable.
Blank verse ... Definition of blank verse : Blank verse is literary device defined as un-rhyming verse. In poetry and prose ,it has a consistent with 10 syllable in each line. Thus it is also known as “un–rhymed iambic pentameter.” FEATURE OF THE BLANK VERSE : Blank verse poetry has no fixed number of lines. It has a conventional meter that is used for verse drama and long narrative poem. Blank verse can be composed in any kind of meter.
We can see that type verse in Shakespeare's Macbeth tragedy: We can see “Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow” line ( 19 -58) it is the best example of the blank verse..... MACBETH
