RAPID MATHEMATICS ASSESSMENT
GRADE 3

LEARNER’S BOOKLET

About this Learner’s Booklet

This Learner’s Booklet is an accompanying material for the Teacher’s Booklet. It is prepared to
ensure that all learners taking the test use the same set of materials. Most tasks require learners to
write their answers in this booklet. To make the booklet reusable, we suggest laminating it.

Before test administration, the test administrator should prepare all necessary materials and
read the accompanying Teacher’s Booklet. It is expected that he/she has gained familiarity with
the tasks and materials, understanding how and for which item to use them.

This Rapid Mathematics Assessment Toolkit for Grade 3 was developed by the University of the
Philippines National Institute for Science and Mathematics Education Development and the Research
Triangle Institute International under the ABC+: Advancing Basic Education in the Philippines program.
This endeavor supports the Department of Education’s National Mathematics Program and is funded by
the United States Agency for International Development.
