25. Key take aways SAP Simple Finance replaces the classical ERP Financials in an ERP 6.0 EHP 7 installation (exchange innovation add-on). Additional 3 products are available for SAP HANA Live, SAP Fiori and SAP Smart Business, including several HANA content packages. SAP Simple Finance SP stacks and ERP 6.0 EHP 7 SP stacks are strictly synchronized. SAP Simple Finance add-on 2.0 SPS 0 requires SAP NetWeaver 7.4 SPS 10. Not all ERP add-ons can be combined with the SAP Simple Finance add-on as of today. For industry solutions certain restrictions apply. A proper check of the prerequisites is key to avoid problems during the installation. The SAP Simple Finance add-on can be installed in 1 step with the update of underlying software layers (using SUM) and the database migration (using SUM w/ DMO).

26. Contd. The application data migration has to be prepared before the add-on installation ! Carefully check all prerequisites for a successful installation are met. Always check the SAP Simple Finance RIN notes for important bug fixes ! Use MOPZ, SUM and HLM to run the installation. Keep the system at the latest (Kernel, HANA Revision, Support Pack, SUM ). There are chances of table corruption during the installation, hence take consistent OS and file system backup after every stage of Installation or Upgrade. Activate Enterprise Extension EA-FIN after the add-on installation if not active.
