Body Check Ritual Exercise When you start to become aware of yourself slipping into the ‘Red’. Do something physical – e.g. holding the wrist, brushing hands, stamping foot. The action will be largely dependent on the context and situation you’re operating in. Place your attention on something external. Notice its shape, texture. Notice the space around it. Choose the next task. © Gazing Limited 2024 22

When you start to become aware of yourself slipping into the ‘Red’. Place your tongue on the bottom of your mouth. Feel the ground under your feet. Feel your stomach move in and out as you breath. Count your breaths. Hold the first two fingers of your left hand (optional). Grounding Exercise © Gazing Limited 2024 23

When you feel your Red Head coming… © Gazing Limited 2024 24 Get Physical

‘Blue head’ is about deliberate focus of attention: clear focus on clear tasks. Most pressure is predictable. Preparing for how the pressure will feel allows you to free up your focus: zoom out to zoom in. © Gazing Limited 2024 26 Embracing the pressure

© Gazing Limited 2024 27 A great example of performance under pressure
