14. Phytochemistry: This division does the isolation and development of active ingredients from herbs for various nutraceutical and therapeutic applications. Research & Development Synthetic Chemistry : Sami Labs has set up a strong synthetic chemistry division to manufacture some of the synthetically derived nutraceuticals. The department also develops dosage formulations in capsules, tablets etc for the nutraceutical products. Biotechnology: Sami Labs ventured into Biotechnology in the year 2000.
