The main achievements of this project are excellent recovery of the natural habitat and consequent in the tiger population in the RESERVE areas. It is evident by the facts also that form a mere 268 in 7 reserves in 1972 , the tiger population has reached up to 1411 in 28 reserves in 2009. even now this project needs to keep up its pace so as to sustain this rare species.
