Building a Status Symbol with AI tells the story of how Sixteen By Nine (SBN) Media crafted a brand film for La Dazzle that sold not just a kitchen, but a dream. The challenge was to capture the emotion of “making it”—that defining Great Indian Upgrade moment when a family moves from necessity to aspiration.
SBN Media understood that the aspirational middle class doesn’t just buy functionality; they invest in symbols of success. Their homes are scoreboards of achievement, and their kitchens are statements of arrival. The goal was clear: make the La Dazzle kitchen a status symbol through storytelling that feels personal, emotional, and real.
Fresh from the success of their AI short film Satta King, the team set out to blend AI precision with human warmth. The script used natural Hindi-English dialogue, reflecting authentic showroom conversations. The visuals were designed to be warm and vibrant, capturing laughter, shared meals, and everyday joy. Close collaboration with the client ensured that every frame aligned perfectly with the brand’s emotional tone.
AI production came with its share of challenges—unintended objects, shimmering surfaces, and visual inconsistencies—but through refinement and technical mastery, the team shaped AI into a creative ally. The result was a brand film that went beyond showcasing products—it celebrated aspiration, achievement, and the life lived within these modern spaces.
